Spiral Restaurant: Close Until January 2012
Spiral Buffet is one of the most famous buffets in the metro. They offer a multitude of choices, as they are a multi cuisine restaurant and the biggest buffet in town. They also have a lot of live cooking stations and offer a wide variety of dishes from Chinese, Mediterranean, Indian, Japanese, Italian and French cuisine. Their dessert station is also to die for especially to those who have a sweet tooth.
Unfortunately, the Spiral buffet will be close and will not re-open until January 2012. They had been badly affected by the flood brought about by Typhoon Pedring (with an International name of Nesat), that the restaurants experienced severe damages. They actually have to evacuate the hotel guests as the hotel experienced waist deep flooding during the typhoon. Just look at this picture of the flooded Spiral restaurant:

The flood has caused so much damage to the restaurant that management has decided to close the restaurant for a total renovation.
I am sure a lot of their local patrons will be disappointed with this news, especially since a lot bought coupon vouchers for their famous buffet from various discount shopping sites which they plan to use for the upcoming holiday season. If you are one of the holders of those discount vouchers, which will expire on December 2011, wait for announcement from Spiral, as they will be sending emails for options that they can offer for their expiring vouchers.
