How to Core an Apple

My kids loves Fuji apples to death. They munch on it all day if we have them in the house. The only problem I have with them is that they want their apples peeled and sliced. ALL THE TIME. And if you do not know yet, I am left handed un-domesticated woman who still has not mastered that art of paring apples. Even veggies for that matter. It can be quite a drag when I’m quite focused on my work and reading about phisoderm so I can write a review about when they come up to me, in different tones and please, that they are so hungry (my kids are melodramatic) and that they want apples.

I found some neat article on how to core an apple:

Slice an apple in half and cut into wedges. Lay apple wedges flat on the board and slice the end with the seed diagonally towards the peel to remove the hard core and seeds.

Slice the apple in half and use the melon baller to neatly scoop out the apple’s center.

This fun gadget will give you a cored apple and expert slices everytime. Align the center of the cutter to the core of an apple laid upright, then firmly push the cutter down.

I think I’d need to get those gadgets!
