The Importance of Communication
I never knew I would need to stay online all the time this bad. I am considered to be late in being internet savvy, only having to acquire an e-mail address in 2003 when I started working. I worked for a registrar company in the US so that is where I got all the tools I needed to learn more about the web – being online for my job 12 hours a day (and being able to surf using T3 connection was a huge plus). I started blogging soon after that and here I am now.
Ironically, since 2003, we have been living without a landline phone. And we are surviving, thanks to mobile phones with special unlimited plans. As I always say, I can live without TV but please don’t take away my internet! I am wishing for a faster connection though. Since we live near the mountains, I have no choice but to sign with our only internet provider. It is faster during early mornings. Better than nothing, I guess. Qwest has several bundles packages though. I am very much attracted to their Qwest high speed Internet offer – only $19.99/month with connection speeds up to 1.5MBPS! (I haven’t experienced that before)
Qwest offers local phone plans, high speed internet, and long distance services. Their Qwest phone service has unlimited phone calling and streamlined billing too.
Here are the plans for the high speed internet:
SILVER: connection speeds up to 1.5Mbps w/ Windows Live™ – $19.99/mo (12months)
PLATINUM: connection speeds up to 7Mbps w/ Windows Live™ – $25.00/mo (12months)
TITANIUM: connection speeds up to 12Mbps w/ Windows Live™ – $35.00/mo (12months)**
QUANTUM: connection speeds up to 20Mbps w/ Windows Live™ – $45.00/mo (12months)**
** (Available only in Selected Areas)
I am one happy camper with the Silver Plan alone – but if Santa allows me to sign up for the Platinum Plan, I promise I would be good the whole year!
