I Need the Internet.
That title might absolutely look pathetic I know. But from someone who is very lucky to be able to work from home and earn enough to be able to support her family all because of the internet, you would understand. I also get to stay in touch with friends, order takeout food (really!), shop in my pajamas, read the latest news (and gossip), watch reruns of seasons of TV shows I fail to watch because Dora and Diego were on my TV for my daughter and actually learn something new. Every single day!
You can imagine how crazy I get when my internet connection is slow or worse, simply goes down. It has happened a lot lately, because of things even my internet provider cannot control. There has been a lot earthquake movements being recorded across the ocean where my DSL company has installed their fiber optic cables. It’s actually creepy to say that there has been an earthquake every month in Asia – wow. So far, fiber optic cables are either cut, pulled or damaged.
