New Wardrobe for the Change of Season
Rains and grey skies are a constant presence to our days these past few weeks. Rather than get depressed about it which I usually do, I am trying to be more active and just maintain a positive (read: happy) outlook. I still worry about the flu (the dreaded Influenza A(H1N1) virus) hitting my family but so far, we are safe. We are having them take anti-flu vaccine shots just to be sure we are on the safer side.
All outerwear for the rainy and cold season are out too – jackets, sweaters, caps, bonnets and even scarves. I’m not overreacting because it tends to get cold here during evenings and with kids who are afflicted with asthma, sinusitis and rhinitis, we just need to be cautious.
I’m looking a nice jacket for me as well. My hooded jackets (hoodies) are no longer appealing to me. I want some style. This gets moved up to my number one to-buy list in time for our shopping in September – these blazers will be very stylish when we will go out during the craziness of the Christmas season.
I am really digging the style and fashion sense of these girls. I wish I can have their weight too!
Speaking of my weight loss journey, I promise to make a blog entry and an update about that soon.
We are halfway through 2009 and I need to make some huge progress – 2 years before I hit 30!
