Caring for the Elderly (with Diabetes)

We are a family of diabetics. My maternal grandmother has one and is insulin-dependent already and my dad has been diagnosed as one as well. I would not be surprised if I would have one – but I am hoping it will not be in the next twenty or thirty years.

As a nurse, I am helping my cousin list down my grandmother’s monthly medical supplies needs, these includes the following:  disposable diapers, insulin medicine and syringes, milk supplement (lactose and sugar free), stool softener, laxatives and many more. She already has a wide range of complications that’s why.
