Geek-o-logy 101

I’m not a very techie person. I love to go on the web and do stuff but I never really had the patience or even the intelligence to know the stuff that goes behind it to make it work. For example, I’ve had my laptop – a Dell Inspiron 1525 for over a year now and I can still remember I didn’t touch it for a week because I was patiently waiting for my husband to get all the drivers installed on it. Since it was a favor, I could not “impose” so I waited.

Fast forward to now. I need to upload pictures from my SLR camera and the uploader software isn’t working. Edil says I need to get the updated canon drivers online so he can download and re-install it. Note that my mind stopped working after I heard the word “driver”. Plus my wi-fi isn’t working as well, so I’d need netgear drivers to install my router. Since my lifeline is online and I couldn’t work (and well, live, if you can say that) without internet, I might as well conquer my fear and work on this.

I googled and come across www.driverssoftware.com. Hmmm, it seems I am good to go!
