Health is (really) Wealth.
We have learned that the hard way last weekend.
Our dear daughter got confined last weekend – a nasty case of the stomach bug. She was throwing up more than what she is taking in, even the Hydrite Water, so the doctor had to admit her. It was so painful to see our baby so sick, and so thin. She lost A LOT of weight because of it.
We also lost a lot of money (well, I maybe exaggerating a bit here but whatever was our money got zeroed out). You see, me and the kids don’t have health insurance, which I realize now we really should have. I was too complacent that everything will be good. I failed to take for granted the premium health insurance me and my family received when I was working. I also have been feeling a lot lately but I dare not even go to a doctor because of the dreaded prices.
So I decided to get health insurance plans for us. My table is filled with Health Insurance Quotes from different companies and after reviewing their benefits, I’m going to call our primary care doctor and the hospital we frequent if the provider I like is accredited. Affordable Health Insurance should be a right of every citizen. Yet, health (good health) remains an elusive commodity to those who can afford it.
