Weekend FoodFest
So last Saturday was my younger sister’s 25th birthday and my mom cooked a simple celebration meal for her. Of course, it involves…SPAGHETTI
This time it was chicken macaroni
I will never ever get tired of my mom’s spaghetti/pasta. Ever.
We had: chicken macaroni, fried chicken, lumpiang shanghai, french bread (with butter)-toasted, cake from Goldilocks and ice cream – Pistachio and Cookies and Cream.
Id like to take note of the two though:
1. My mom’s lumpiang shanghai was different. It consists of: grinded chicken breast (boiled, minced, grinded), cheese, cilantro/kinchay (is that the same? If not, those two were in there!
), and carrots. It tasted so goood. Matrabaho nga lang.
2. The cake from Goldilocks was chocolate caramel – and they had caramel dip/sauce – a rip off from Estrel’s eh? Tasted nice na din. I wasnt too crazy about the caramel though.
Next time, we will have French toast casserole. Agnes is a pro at making them. We usually have them for snacks in Becerra.
