I'm a food enthusiast. I love food. What you will read here are not the newest restaurants or the latest food trends. What you will find here are foods, recipes that I like, happen to eat, happen to love and would like to write about.

A self-confessed sweet tooth (choco-holic, Coke Addict and emotional eater), I'm trying to make healthier choices when it comes to eating, hence the name Salad Caper.

Top Chef

Yes, it is all about the TV and movies today I finally got around to being introduced (and liking) The Top Chef (Yes, after four seasons!!). The reason? Well, not exactly food but the yummy Sam Talbot! He was a fan favorite on Season 2, and I can definitely relate why! He really isnt my type but the way he carries himself and the way he cooks — it is definitely attractive. He is just another typical chef (like the ones you dont normally notice – Daniel Neumeister or Jack Black or John Doe), but he was really a fan favorite – and definitely so!!

He returned to Top Chef for a special “Four Star All Stars” episode along with Elia Aboumrad, Marcel Vigneron, and Ilan Hall. They were defeated by Season 1 Stars though. They were still fan favorites.

And according to Wikipedia, Talbot has since opened up a restaurant called The Surf Lodge.
