Health for Myself 101

I am at my highest weight today. It really doesnt surprise me as I have to admit I absolutely have no control over my eating habits. I eat all the time – when Im happy, I eat, when Im bored, depressed, pressured and even if Im really busy – I eat. It doesn’t help that I have a job that requires me no physical activity at all, just fast fingers for typing and a sharp mind to think things.

So I have a target for the rest of the year. I will be blogging about it on my personal blog soon. From this day forward, it will all be all about me – myself, my health and my personal goals. We really have been doing pretty well with everything else – the kids are great and the goals we have set for our family are right on track. It is just me who needs attention.

So here is the plan: cut back on rice, eat a healthy breakfast and do physical activity that will make me sweat and my heart race for a good 15 minutes. That’s the plan for my first week. I will be increasing my cardio training on my Dad’s treadmill and then do resistance weights.
